Guitar Courses

Learn & Master Guitar is only for those who are serious about learning the guitar. This is a very comprehensive set, and we have faith in its ability to teach people very well, very quickly. If you want to learn the fastest, and learn the best technique and style, Learn & Master Guitar is our top pick.

Quantity:  The first thing that our reviewers said after reviewing this course was about the sheer size of the course. This course comes with a huge amount of material, so you don't have to worry about something important being left out.  If you are just looking to mess around on the guitar, and not be serious, don't make the investment in this program.  It's a 15 disc set, and yes that is as much as it sounds like.  Their claim is that the material included can take you all the way from just starting out on guitar, to being at or close to professional level playing. Our reviewers agree with this claim.

Quality:  The quality of the course was another thing that really made us happy. They went far out of their way to make this learning experience glitch free, and seamless.  A lot of the instructional videos sound like songs you would hear on the radio, and the reason is they hired awesome players to do the instructions.  All of this is really pointless if the program doesn't deliver, but as stated before, they do deliver. There have been high reviews from sites such as Gibson.com, and other renowned guitar blogs.

Service:  Full phone and email support are provided.  As long as you contact them during normal business hours you can almost guarantee prompt service. We tested their refund policy and were promptly refunded. This is a standard procedure we take with all course purchases, to ensure fraud, or scamming is not going on.

Online Support:  A strange feature that is provided is full online support. The reason is it strange is that no other services that we found provided this level of support.  You will also get access to a members only area that is worth its weight in gold. You can post questions, or problems that you are having, and have them answered by real people. The author is very active in this area, and often will answer your question, as opposed to some guy working in india.

Negatives:  We liked the whole course. The one downfall is the price, but if you really are serious about learning guitar, this is the way to go. If you change your mind you can always send it back.

Bottom Line:  Best home study course for learning guitar period. Until we stumble upon something better, this remains our number one.

Home Schoolers:  Some people like the Home School Edition that is provided. This comes with help for the non-musical parent to guide their child through the course, including a full Teacher's Guide and two DVDs. If you are a parent getting this for a kid, we recommend you check out this version here.

Buyer’s Tip:  This course goes on sale about every three months. If you sign up for their mailing list and wait for a sale you may get a better deal. Special Discount are often given to visitors from this site, depending on the day. To get the discount make sure you use the link below.
