The Big Trail: Mythical Western might appear creaky to some watchers, although it continues to be considered one of the most impressive early talkies. The Jackpot: Un-contemporary, little comedy, uplifted by megastars. Stewart is the winner of a stereo competition although couldn�t pay the levies on the winnings. Cast includes James Stewart, Barbara Hale, James Gleason, Fred Clark, and Natalie Wood. (87 minutes, 1960)

Strange Interlude: Talky Eugene O’Neill play gets to be marathon of central opinions exposed only to spectators in journal of Gable, Shearer. It is about growing old without settling their complications. This is a preoccupying film, with Shearer at her brilliant best. Horror Express: Cracketjack terror film, ingeniously orchestrated and well performed by the genre’s megastars. Turn of the century chiller has a long iced up beast coming to life when being moved from Asia to the West. Lee and Cushing are adversary anthropologists aboard the train and Savalas is a power crazed Cossack officer. Cast includes Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Telly Savalas, Silvia Tortosa, and Jorge Rigaud. (88 minutes, 1972)

Ruby’s Fantasy: Smooth although typical drive-in fare in regards to a shell-stunned Vietnam vet who finds himself the object of an enormous manhunt in a small Alabama town. It is the same elementary tale as First Blood which came later. Cast includes Linda Blair, Ben Johnson, Matt Clark, and Richard Famsworth. (91 minutes, 1982)

Stairway to Heaven: Powell and Pressburger manage to straddle actuality and fantasy in a most disarming approach in this irregular tale of a guide in WW2 who claims he was unintentionally selected to die, and should now plead for his life in a Heavenly court. Cast includes David Niven, Kim Hunter, Raymond Massey, Roger Livesey, Robert Coote, Marius Goring, and Richard Attenborough. (104 minutes, 1946)
